Jill Valentine may be back to Resident Evil: Afterlife

A very short post from Milla Jovovich on her Twitter managed to give a major spoiler to the next installment of the "Resident Evil" series. From the filming set of "Resident Evil: Afterlife" on Monday, November 9, the depicter of Alice in the movie franchise wrote, "Valentine May b back..."
Jovovich made a reference to another hero character Jill Valentine who last appeared in the second movie "Resident Evil: Apocalypse". The character was portrayed by Sienna Guillory who has not confirmed her return in the role. Guillory reportedly was slated to be back for "Resident Evil: Extinction" but due to other work commitments, she passed on the role and the character did not appear in the third movie.

After Life Delayed

The reason is the complexity of the production ... it seems to excuse and hefty, but it is not.

The site ShockTillYouDrop revealed that the Screen Gems production company postponed the release date for Resident Evil: Afterlife, originally previsra on 27 August 2010 to January 14, 2011.

The reason is that the studio believes that this fourth film, the first being in 3-D, need more time in post production than the previous films. In fact, the people who are a fan of the franchise should be mad at the change in compensation for the staff is critical ferrenhoe located with extreme special effects easily and trunks bad thanks:).

Resident Evil: Afterlife will W.S. Paul Anderson's script and direction, and the cast that includes Milla Jovovich, Boris Kodjoe, Ali Larter, Wentworth Miller

News About After Life

Boris Kodjoe recently revealed on his Twitter page that he is part of the Resident Evil: Afterlife cast. In a recent interview with Blackfilm.com about his latest film, Surrogates, he revealed more about his role in Resident Evil: Afterlife along with some plot details and mentioned other cast members in the film, including Prison Break's Wentworth Miller and Ali Larter, who played Claire Redfield in Resident Evil: Extinction.

When asked about his role in Resident Evil: Afterlife, Boris said "I play the leader of the survivors in LA. Milla Jovovich’s character, Alice, is roaming the world looking for survivors and she’s wound up in LA, which has been burning for three years. She comes across an LA jail surrounded by these zombies. She comes across the jail and there’s a couple of survivors and she lands on top of the roof and partners up with me to fight the guys that are coming after them. We’re trying to get all of the survivors out of the jail to safety".

When asked if any of the characters from the previous movies will be back in Resident Evil: Afterlife, Boris said "It’s gonna be Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, I’m the new one, and Wentworth Miller is also in the movie. He's the lead in Prison Break. Wentworth will be playing a guy that we actually locked up when we took over the jail because we weren’t sure if he was one of them or not. He comes into play as we try to find a way to get out with our survivors".

... Or the Church're causin with Resident Evil?

Who remembers the controversy that Resident Evil 5 led to accusations that the game would be racist? At the time, journalists, critics, understood the subject and another staff had nothing to do claimed that it was absurd a white protagonist killing of a legion of black. The issue has been discussed thousands of times for production, and I lost count of how many times Jun Takeuchi gave statements on the issue (if I was tired of reading about it, imagine how much he was tired of responding). In the end, close to the game's release, little is heard talking about it, but there is still (va) a hint of controversy: Many people believe that Sheva might have been inserted as a second player to drown out those issues, as well as the insertion of enemies of varying ethnicities.

This time, there is a racial issue that appears as pebble in the shoe of producers of the series, but the religion. Soon after the release of RE: The Darkside Chronicles last week, three British members of the clergy said that the game is promoting occultism and glorifies violence, "If we had fun with that, we open to influences that put us at risk. "

In response to statements by senior religious, Leo Tan, one of the accessors release from Capcom, tore the verb and considered atidude clerics absurd and it would be "typical rumors generated by religious hysteria" and that "most of the characters in the Resident Evil struggle against evil, not the supports. Still, the most controversial phrases, the accessor that "it is very easy to sprinkle and judge video game players so stereotyped."

Despite statements sharp accessor Capcom, he played a very important point, and that should be his main argument: Resident Evil is a game that puts players in the position of someone who fights against evil and not someone who does evil . Like thousands of other video games, RE creates an alternative world, a fictional story and an adventure that allows people to take the place of heroes, not villains. For any normal person who sees it in a healthy way, RE is fun, and just.

Debating about religion is tricky, but there is no denying that the statements of members of the British church was somewhat thoughtless. There are thousands of entertainment formats based on terror, with scenes of violence and others, including exploring the occult. It is the freedom of each one, idependente the form of thought, religion or belief to use this as a means of entertainment or not.

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, known as Biohazard: The Darkside Chronicles (バイオハザード / ダークサイド・クロニクルズ?) in Japan, is a on-rails shooting game for the Wii developed by cavia and Capcom.
The game was released on November 17, 2009 in North America.
It is to be released in Europe on November 27, 2009 bundled with the Wii Zapper accessory.
The game's plot revolves around the personal stories and tragedies in the series.
Its main focus is retelling the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica, and a new chapter is featured.
For the Resident Evil 2 segment, the player takes control of protagonists Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, with Ada Wong and Sherry Birkin acting as supporting characters.
The Code: Veronica chapter features Claire, accompanied by fellow Rockfort Island prisoner Steve Burnside. Albert Wesker is set to make an appearance in a flashback.
Chris Redfield will also make an appearance.
In addition to the retellings, there will be new aspects to the series' storyline that will be explored, including a new chapter featuring an original storyline.
The new chapter, dubbed "Operation Javier", is set prior to the events of Resident Evil 4 and features Leon S. Kennedy and Jack Krauser in the South American village of Amparo to rescue a young girl named Manuela.
As the game's development began before the production of Degeneration and because of the different timeframe, Kawata ruled out connections to the CG film and Resident Evil 5, though he hinted at the appearance of new characters and the exploration of the Birkins' and the Ashfords' family ties.
In 2002, somewhere in South America, Leon S. Kennedy and his partner Jack Krauser are searching for Javier Hidalgo, an ex-drug lord who had been reported to be approaching Umbrella Inc. However, when Leon and Krauser reach the nearby village, they discover that the people there have been turned into zombies. Some zombies have the Sacred Snakes indentation, meaning that they worked alongside Javier. Leon and Krauser find their guide dead, but before he dies and has his body taken away by a water-bound BOW, he says that the girl (Manuela) "brought devils to this village." Fighting their way past more BOWs and hungry piranha, Leon and Krauser eventually find the girl, but have to face the creature that took their village guide. They successfully kill it, and Krauser asks Leon to tell him everything about how he first encountered the BOWs. The scenario resumes after the Resident Evil 2 section, where it is revealed that Javier is Manuela's father, and the creature they faced was her mother.
This scenario re-tells the events of Resident Evil 2, leading up to when Leon and Claire face G (a mutated William Birkin). Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy have just arrived in Raccoon City, when they learn that the city has been infested with zombies and other monsters. They then decide to go to the police station, hoping to find answers. Claire and Leon are together much of the time, only briefly splitting up. When they meet Ada Wong, Ada fights alongside Leon, Claire and Sherry.
A re-imagining of Resident Evil Code: Veronica, where Claire Redfield and Steve Burnside remain together and attempt to escape Rockfort Island in a seaplane, while having to contend with the psychotic Alfred Ashford, and eventually, his sister Alexia. In this iteration of the story, their father Alexander Ashford appears in a video, which was recorded shortly before he became the monster known as Nosferatu.
The development of The Darkside Chronicles as an on-rails shooter was decided because Kawata considered it the best way to retell the scenarios that could not be included in the previous game.
With this title, however, he wanted to put a much bigger emphasis on horror, employing a camera system that will try to convey a sense of actually being in the game.
To research realistic camera shaking in hectic situations, one of the team members went out in town for a day to make motion tests with a camcorder.
Another important aspect to create the game's atmosphere was achieving high-quality graphics, which cavia used all their resources for.
Kawata was very satisfied with the result and went on to say that the only thing really setting the visuals apart from next-generation consoles is the lack of HD display.
He also mentioned that there is a plethora of attractive content to use for more games in the Chronicles series and the decision of their development would largely depend on cavia's future involvement.

Resident Evil Afterlife

"Resident Evil: Afterlife" is confirmed as the next chapter in the zombie series, a rare success case in the world of video game-to-film adaptations. It may not be a monumentally successful franchise along the lines of "Twilight" or "Harry Potter," but "Resident Evil" movies have a habit of performing well with audiences whenever they're released.
What we know so far: the shoot is already underway, with a planned 3-D release for the movie late next year. Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter will reprise their roles as Alice and Claire Redfield, respectively. Also confirmed are Shawn Roberts as the villainous Wesker and "Prison Break" star Wentworth Miller as Claire's brother Chris.
The good folks at Sci Fi Wire noted that Jovovich has been active on her Twitter feed since the shoot started, providing updates from the set. Rather explicit updates too, detailing scenes, locations, characters-- probably more than she should. Read on for a rundown, but BEWARE OF SPOILERS:
@MillaJovovich The fight is Alice, Claire and Chris Redfield against super powerful Wesker. The moves r taken directly from RE5, a homage to the fans.
@MillaJovovich Jill valentine, undead dogs, tokyo... Do u really think I can give all that away?
@MillaJovovich It looks much more believable now. And I can stop thinking about it. Phew! Also, kasey is NOT the new Jill. Sienna is the ONLY Jill!
@MillaJovovich Valentine MAY b back...
@MillaJovovich But I'm so happy we're bringing characters back now. It really adds a new dimension to the series.
@MillaJovovich i feel like this is really gonna b the best RE yet and if u all love, we'll get to continue the series!
@MillaJovovich just finished an incredible shot! real trailer moment! me running, semi's blazing, glass exploding in front of me, walls exploding behind me
@MillaJovovich have been talking to my friend maynard j. Keenan to potentially do a song 4 the soundtrack. http://myloc.me/1teq5
